“We hired Glen to renovate our 20 year old kitchen. After asking around for references for a contractor,  Glen was referred to us by a former co-worker and friend. Our friend spoke very highly of Glen’s work and said he would not refer him if he were not good. He said we would like Glen, and, that Glen was very meticulous.

Upon hearing such positive comments, I did not hesitate to call Glen. I instantly felt comfortable talking to him on the phone. He is very pleasant. He offered to come out a few days later, and true to his word, he did not let us down. He was prepared and on time.

Our first meeting went extremely well. Glen took photos and measurements of our kitchen. He asked to look in our cupboards and drawers and he returned within a day or two, full of ideas and a set of  plans. It was then that I realized, what he had actually been doing, was noting our current set up. But much more than that, Glen genuinely cared about making everything easier and more accessible for us. He wanted us to really enjoy our new kitchen, to maximize the space, and make he guaranteed it would become our favourite room. He has an eye for detail , he noted that I am a baker, that we did not have a lot of counter space and drawers. His plans and ideas took all of these things into consideration and he designed a kitchen that was tailored to us. He also surprised us with special accessories that really made our kitchen so much more practical and enjoyable. We were so taken with his ideas and design, that we did not even pay close attention to the details of the contract! Typically, questions came to us later and Glen was quick to put our minds at ease and promised to work with us to be sure we were happy. This was his concern from the beginning and through the entire project. He went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied. I especially loved his enthusiasm and the passion he exhibits in his work.

Glen stayed in touch with us and kept us up to date. He replied to all our calls and emails within minutes. He is very knowledgeable and when we needed an opinion, he was honest and gave us good solid advice. When we followed his advice, we were never disappointed with the results. I also liked that he was creative in his thinking. He made suggestions and we never felt pressured or stressed. He gave us time we needed to make decisions and he respected us, our family and our home.

Unlike other contractors, Glen devoted his time to making things fit perfectly. He pays attention to fine details, provides superior workmanship and would not rest until he was happy with his own work. Our friend was right, he is meticulous and it shows in every thing he does. Feedback is an important aspect of his work. Glen constantly asked if everything was okay. He is devoted to his work and stands by it. Glen made sure we were always pleased and would not rest until we were. Friends and family have been visiting to see the kitchen progress and are really impressed. We have been asked so often for his name that we felt it would be easier just to display his business cards on our kitchen counter!

Our kitchen looks incredible, it functions so much better now and we are so pleased with it. I can honestly say I never doubted Glen, his ideas or his workmanship. He made us a promise and he lived up to his commitment and never let us down. Our dreams for a beautiful kitchen have been fulfilled and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I know he will be the first person I call for any future projects. We love our new kitchen and it really is the best room in the house.”

Over the past year, Glen has been an invaluable help to me with on-going problems at my 2,000 sq foot condominium. Improperly designed balconies above my unit allow the water to pool and over time it has leaked into both my kitchen and living room. My condominium board hired Glen to investigate the damage which lead to his taking down the ceiling in both the living room and kitchen. He completely re-insulated and re-drywalled the entire kitchen allowing me to make some minor changes such as installing additional light fixtures and changing the colour of the room. The living room repairs are in progress.

Glen’s professional yet friendly manner made an overwhelming problem into no problem at all!
